Living in LA is hard enough, when you think about all the stuff we have to put up with: traffic, unaffordable housing, incompetent politicians and earthquakes. But the constant sunshine and proximity to ocean and desert (and everything in between) can sometimes muddle our fashion sense.
My friends and I started compiling a list of fashion do’s and dont’s that are specific to LA. Pretty soon we came up with a set of Rules that any self-respecting Angeleno should follow.
Here they are:
1. Do NOT wear Crocs or Ugg boots under the pretense that they are comfortable. So are ballet flats.
2. Always wear weather appropriate clothing. Ugg boots paired with shorts or a mini skirt is a) visually assaulting and b) wrong on ALL LEVELS
3. NO leather leggings. A TRAVESTY. (thanks, Yolin!)
4. Avoid bubble dresses. They do NOTHING for you, except make you look like a pear. (thanks, Wendy!)
